Nick Jones

Nick has established himself as a specialist in property acquisitions, project management and dilapidations disputes.

He prides himself on responding to and advising clients in a timely manner and meeting deadlines. Prior to this, Nick was head of building surveying at a city based commercial building surveying practice, acting as client lead to a number of pension funds, asset management firms and national occupiers.

Nick has extensive experience in dilapidations disputes in England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. All of which have slightly different interpretations of landlord and tenant lease end conduct.

With a specialism in building inspections and technical due diligence throughout the UK and Europe, whether it be a large central London office complex, distribution centre, industrial unit, shopping centre or mixed use property portfolio, Nick has a proven track record of being able to understand a client’s requirements, form the necessary team, complete the inspection and highlight the key issues that affect the potential acquisition.

Nick also has the knowledge and experience to manage the transformation of either a dilapidated asset and/or alteration to a new acquisition. His project management and contract administration knowledge are key to this and he can assist clients with important issues around capital expenditure for refurbishment and the impact on alternative funding streams.
